Travelling to and in Berlin

Berlin has two international airports.

1. Berlin Tegel Airport
Berlin Tegel Airport is located in the northwest of Berlin and is easily accessible by all means of transport.

Various bus connections are available from Berlin Tegel Airport to Berlin city centre, making the airport very well integrated in Berlin’s public transport network. Four BVG (Berlin Transport Services) stops are located right outside Terminal A and B.

2. Berlin Schönefeld Airport
Berlin Schönefeld Airport is the secondary international airport of Berlin and is located 18 km southeast of Berlin near the town of Schönefeld.

How to get here
Schönefeld Airport has a railway station that provides excellent connections (regional and S-Bahn trains) to Berlin’s centre and surrounding areas. Numerous bus connections round off the range of local public transport options.

Main station Berlin

Berlin Central Station is located close to the government district in the heart of Berlin. The Central Station is also a regional train station and has a direct link to Berlin’s S-Bahn network. From there it takes about 10 minutes to get to Alexanderplatz or Station Zoologischer Garten by S-Bahn.
