The Centre de Congrès de Lyon is situated at Lyon’s northeast Gateway, between the Tête d’Or Park, the Quai Charles de Gaulle and the Rhône, right on the edge of the city center, near the northern ring road and 5 minutes from a junction connecting with a major European motorway network.

Access to the conference rooms and social events
All participants will receive a badge during the registration at the conference. The badge must be worn all times and is your entrance ticket to the session rooms and social events organized outside the Centre de Congrès de Lyon.
Registered accompanying persons can participate at the social events only, welcome reception on Thursday evening, Lyon city boat trip on Friday evening, and the Conference dinner on Saturday evening. Registration of accompanying persons can be done through the registration site.
You are advised to reserve your rooms well in advance as bookings received after June 15 cannot be guaranteed. Please go to Hotel Accommodations for more information and booking instructions.
Authors of submitted papers
On 1st and 2nd of March, all authors are informed by e-mail of the status of their paper. Please contact firstname.lastname@example.org in case you did not receive this information message. Please note that paper submitters have to be registered before May 1, 2018 otherwise their paper will NOT be included in the sessions programme.
Cancellation policy conference registration
Cancellation of registration before August 13, 2018: 50% refund of registration fee (excluding the membership fee). Cancellation of registration on or after August 13, 2018: 0% refund of registration fee.
Coffee breaks: served in the Forum 1 (n°58 on the Convention Centre map) on Friday and Saturday between 10.45 – 11.00 and 15.45 – 16.00/16.00 – 16.15
Lunches: served in the Forum 1 (n°58 on the Convention Centre map) Friday and Saturday between 13.15 – 14.15
Conference app instead of programme book
Please note that the complete programme will be available at the EALE conference app. We will not have any printed programme books available. We will however, make a PDF of the programme available shortly before the start of the conference. If you prefer a printed version, you can download/print the programme book from the EALE website.

EALE Membership and Labour Economics
In order to attend the EALE annual conference, it is compulsory to become a member of EALE for 2018 and you have to pay the membership fee for 2018. The EALE membership 2018 includes an on-line access to the official journal of EALE: LABOUR ECONOMICS. The price of the membership for 2018 is EURO 47,50. Furthermore EALE-members can submit articles to LABOUR ECONOMICS for free (submission fee for non-members is EURO 75). All 2018 members are listed at the member list. If you are not included to this list you have to pay the non-membership fees as indicated on the registration site.
EALE General Assembly Meeting
The EALE General Assembly Meeting is a general meeting for all participants/members and is chaired by the President of EALE. This meeting is scheduled on Friday 14 September.
There is free wifi available on the conference venue.
