Best Reviewer Award 2020

The Editors of Labour Economics, select out of a list of 10 top reviewers for Labour Economics a winner. The prize is € 1,000.

The winner of the Best Reviewer Award is:

Marie Paul (University of Duisburg-Essen)

Motivation: Marie Paul has been a reviewer for the journal since late 2017 and never declined any invitation. She was nominated by one of the co-editors, but wrote reports for three co-editors and one guest editor in the last three and a half years. In total, she wrote 11 reports on five different papers, including constructive reports on a paper that she initially proposed to reject. The reports all look very thorough and thoughtful and were all delivered on time.
